The workshop aims to provide a forum to enable practitioners and researchers to discuss their experiences in order to contribute a better theoretical and practical understanding of modularity and open innovation.

The workshop brings together leading academics engaged in research on modularity and open innovation (and their managerial implications) and practitioners from leading European firms engaged in implementing modular design and open innovation approaches.
