Call for contributions for the DIME WP 3.4
Organised by LEM – Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna

The workshop - introduced by a small group of distinguished international scholars - is aimed at gathering the recent results on the state of the art of both theoretical and empirical research on firm-level longitudinal data.

We intend to promote a thorough scientific exchange on

  • the dynamics of firm-industry evolution, discussing how efficiency, profitability and market share dynamics evolve at the micro level
  • capital adjustment patterns and the firm-level investment dynamics
  • the interactions between industrial dynamics and technological factors
  • firm performance in international trade
  • the effects of trade and financial integration on emerging economies
  • employment dynamics and employer-employees matched data
  • the links between micro and aggregate (sectoral and national) performances

Economists and professionals, working in related fields, are invited to submit theoretical and applied papers in all of the areas covered by the workshop.

  • Andrew B. Bernard, Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth
