This workshop is part of the Structural Activity Line 3 of the DIME Network of Excellence and focuses particularly on the development of regions through increased entrepreneurial efforts and innovation efforts in the larger knowledge economy. The workshop will be constructed as a learning space from the viewpoint of practice-based-theorizing, and it will enable dialogue amongst participants regarding new trends, new methods, case studies, and narratives.

In addition, there is a proposed roundtable meeting on the 16th of April for those who are able to attend. The purpose of the roundtable is to bring together a small group of experts from various countries that have expertise in this field. It will consider the possible, future collaboration in the area of regional entrepreneurship and innovation.

The venue for the workshop is located in Be’er Sheva which is located in the Southern part of Israel and is within reasonable distance to airports, hotels, and other attractions.
